Women's Zori Sandals

Looking for a pair of worldly footwear? How about women's zori sandals straight out of Asia? With a rich Japanese history, zori sandals are a great summer accessory. Zori sandals are similar to flip flops, which themselves appeared in the United States shortly after WWII. Coincidence? Probably not. The comfort and ease of wearing this kind of shoe turned out to be quite universal.

While the traditional styles of women's zori sandals are now only worn when in costume, a more modern zori sandal style has made its way onto the market. These more casual zori sandals are usually worn in Japan with a simple summer kimono known as the yukata. They are also worn by young Japanese women and men with modern clothing. But you can pair zori sandals with almost anything!
